Project to locate and restore graves of Polish Legionnaires at London’s Cemeteries.

We have started a new project aimed at locating and recording graves of Polish Legionnaires in London cemeteries and graveyards. The Institute's volunteers cleaned the grave of Tadeusz Schaetzel and Edmund Charaszkiewicz at the South Ealing Cemetery. In addition, we were able to locate graves of General Leon Strzelecki, Henryk Sroka and Zdzisław Miłoszewski at the same cemetery.
